View as PDF		Victoria Priganc, PhD, OTR, CHT, CLT10/01/2009 Course description:  This 4-week on-line course is designed to provide participants with a detailed analysis of the distal upper extremity anatomy.  The focus is on reviewing the structures of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow from a clinical perspective.  It provides a deeper understanding of pathology and treatment from an anatomical viewpoint and enhances the participant’s competence describing clinical scenarios from an anatomical perspective.   For some, this course will be an excellent review of anatomy and its clinical implications.  For others, new and exciting information will be learned.

Hand Therapy 101

Course description:  This 4-week on-line course is designed to provide participants with the beginning knowledge of numerous aspects related to hand therapy.  The focus of this course is to introduce people to the specialized field of hand therapy.  The course is designed to provide a deeper understanding of hand anatomy, hand movement patterns, common pathologies, and common treatment programs.  For some, this course will provide an excellent foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in hand therapy, and for others, it will provide a solid base of knowledge for those occasional ‘hand patients.’
